The LK Nutrition Clinic: our approach

Consultant Gastrointestinal Dietitian London

Consultant Gastrointestinal Dietitians

We believe nutrition is more effective when your care is shaped by data, clinical expertise, and a real understanding of you.

Depending on your needs, our work may include interpretation of, or direct referral for:

  • Stool testing, including inflammatory markers, digestive function and microbiome analysis

  • DEXA body composition scans to assess lean mass, fat mass and visceral fat

  • Comprehensive blood testing, including full vitamin and mineral screening

  • Breath testing (e.g. for carbohydrate malabsorption or bacterial overgrowth)

These insights allow nutrition strategies to be precise rather than generic, particularly in complex or long-standing cases..

Our story

I’m Lucy Kerrison, a consultant gastrointestinal dietitian based in Marylebone, London, working with adults who are frustrated by ongoing gut symptoms, unexplained digestive issues and complex health presentations.

I have worked with thousands of clients, focusing on disorders of the gut–brain axis (such as IBS), inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic concerns, hormone-related symptoms and performance-related gut issues.

My work focuses on understanding the why behind symptoms (not just managing them), and creating clear, evidence-based strategies that are realistic, sustainable and clinically robust.

I work closely with some of London’s leading gastroenterologists, surgeons, endocrinologists, pelvic health physiotherapists and specialist nurses, allowing for a truly integrated and medical-grade approach to nutrition care.

Where appropriate, clients are supported alongside investigations and diagnostics, ensuring nutrition advice is aligned with medical findings rather than working in isolation.

Alongside clinical practice, I am actively involved in education and professional development within the field of dietetics.

I am a guest lecturer at the University of Surrey, teaching final-year dietetic students on gastrointestinal nutrition, and I regularly deliver education sessions for doctors and other healthcare professionals on the role of diet in gut health.

I have contributed to the latest edition of the Manual of Dietetic Practice on the topic of malabsorption and write for national publications on gut health and nutrition.

I lead a small specialist team, who support my work and the day-to-day running of the LK Nutrition clinic.

This allows clients to benefit from a seamless, well-supported experience, with myself, or one of the dietitians in my team.

Every recommendation, protocol and treatment plan is shaped by the same principles of evidence-based practice, clinical rigour and personalised care.
